Resolving Differences

Whether it involves a will contest or a divorce matter, I always start a case by determining what the two sides have in common. I do this because I believe that problems within families should be solved outside the courtroom whenever possible. Once we know what we agree on, we can move on to areas where we disagree.

In addition to negotiation, mediation is an excellent tool for solving legal disputes, especially if both sides are being open and honest. Taking an overly aggressive stance during a divorce can damage the relationship, and make co-parenting very difficult in the future.

If there is no other way, I can--and will--take a case to trial. I have the skill and experience necessary to present my client and client's case in the best light possible. I also have the ability to tell their story to the court professionally and persuasively.
